We celebrate the life of Ella Agnes Scott Griffiths, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018. Born on March 20, 1923 to Jean and Wesley Scott in Alliston, Ontario, Canada, as one of 10 children, she graduated with her RN from Orillia School of Nursing. Ella joined Trans-Canada Airlines as a flight attendant prior to meeting the love of her life, Evan Griffiths, to whom she remained married for 68 years. more

Thomas William “Bill” Young, 53, passed away at his home in Bullard, Texas on February 2, 2018. Born in San Antonio, on May 3, 1964, he graduated Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler, Class of 1982. He then studied Computer Science at Tyler Junior College. more
“Coach” William Robert Dwain Brown was born September 22, 1979 in Tyler, TX and passed away January 20, 2018 in Wills Point, TX. William graduated from Bullard High School in 1998. He then earned his B.A. in Health and Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler. After earning his degree, William started his teaching and coaching career. William coach and taught in Malakoff ISD, El Campo ISD and Willis Point ISD. more
A celebration of life service for Dr. Marjorie Roper, 96, of Bullard, was held Saturday, Jan. 6, at First United Methodist Church of Bullard, with Rev. David Brasher, officiating. Burial followed the service at Bullard Cemetery. Known simply as “Dr. Roper,” she was called Home to be with her Lord and Savior the afternoon of Wednesday, Jan. 3 while in her childhood home in Bullard, surrounded by her loving family. more
Elizabeth Ann Wilson Primer passed away peacefully on December 18, 2017. A family memorial was held under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Ann was born to the late Giles Vinson and Mildred Harper Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas on July 16th, 1934. She earned a B. A. in geology from the University of Texas in 1956 and married Charles Austin Primer the same year while he was still in medical school. In 1966, they settled in Tyler, where he practiced Ob-Gyn for over 30 years. more
Patti Kuchinsky died at home in her sleep on December 20th, the winter solstice. Her passing leaves a huge hole in the world for those of us who knew and loved her. more
A private memorial is pending for Rena Beth McGaughey, 74, of Bullard. Mrs. McGaughey died Tuesday, December 19, in College Station. She was born August 6, 1943, in Dallas, Texas to James Southerland and Margaret Simmons Southerland. She had lived in Bullard for many years and was a member of the Emerald Bay Community Church. more
Services for Van Solon Campbell, 80, of Bullard, were held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Clay Thornton and Larry McClenny officiating. Burial followed the service at Bullard Cemetery, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mr. Campbell passed away Thursday, September 21 in Tyler. He was born March 16, 1937 in Quemado, TX to J.C. and Leona Campbell. more
John A. Thompson, born in Berlin, New Mexico on Sept. 24, 1933, passed away on Sept. 9, 2017 at Louis and Peaches Heart Hospital. The son of Dorthea and Dan Fine, Mr. Thompson was survived by his wife, Louise Thompson; son Tim Bland; daughter Pat Hite; four grandchildren: Michael, Danyale, Brea, and Justin; nine great-grandchildren: Taylor, Delayna, Brylee, Breonna, Bryson, Brooklynn, Cody, Aiden, and Ally. more
