Annual event Saturday, Nov. 3

Family fun, vendors and food can all be enjoyed at the annual Bullard Red White & Blue Festival set for Saturday, Nov. 3 in downtown Bullard, Texas.

“We have worked for months to put together an event to make our community proud,” said event chair Brandi Abercrombie, “With a lot of great volunteers and generous sponsors, I think we have put together an event the entire family will enjoy”

The festival will kick off with a parade through downtown at 10 a.m., followed at 11 a.m. with a veterans ceremony led by keynote speaker Steve Dement.

Amusements, food, antique car show and 80+ vendors will be set up throughout the downtown area.

Music for the festival will start at 2 p.m. and will include local talent from the First Baptist Church of Bullard as well as Lauren Alexander. Headlining this year's event will be “Johnny Lee and the Urban Cowboy Band." Johnny Lee is best known for his 1980 hit “Looking for Love” from the Urban Cowboy soundtrack.

Rising stars on the Texas music scene “The Bart Crow band” will also perform at the event. Bart Crow himself served in the U.S. Army right out of high school.

Six Market Blvd round out this year's list of entertainers. This group of Texas natives earned two Top 25 singles on the Texas Music Chart from their 2010 album “Running on Seven.”

The Red White & Blue Festival is free to the public and open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
