Lady Panthers down CH, Athens
Bullard’s Rachel Horton scores two of her 10 points vs. Chapel Hill. Bullard girls’ basketball team stayed undefeated in district play with big wins over Chapel Hill and then Athens.
Bullard traveled to Athens Friday, Jan. 27 and took the win with a score of 69-37. With ten Lady Panthers scoring, Bullard kept control of the game against Athens.
Minta Spears scored a huge 40 points scoring a good percentage of the Lady Panthers’ points.
Kylee Nichols and Samantha Cummins both scored six points for Bullard while Emily Voyles scored four points.
Madison Slayter, Rachel Horton and Valerie Holman all scored three points for the Lady Panthers.
Chelsie Southerland found two points while Ashley Frost and Mallory McCoy both added one point each towards the Bullard success.

The Lady Panthers came out with energy that couldn’t be met by Chapel Hill with Spears taking another 40 points for Bullard’s scoreboard.
PHOTOS BY RACHAEL ROETEN Nichols scored a big 18 points with Horton also in double digits with ten points. Heather Anding and Cummins both scored six for Bullard while Slayter scored three for the night. McCoy and Savannah Pinion both added two points each for Bullard’s win.
The Lady Panthers only have two more district games left in the season starting with Tuesday, Feb. 3 at home facing Brownsboro for senior night. The last regular season game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at Rusk at 6:15.
If Bullard can repeat their success over these two teams, they will end their season undefeated going into postseason.
