The teams donated a portion of the proceeds to Alaina Cannon, one of Bullard’s high school teachers who is currently battling cancer. The rest of the money went to Fit Steps for Life which is a program offered by Cancer Foundation for Life (CFFL). CFFL is a non-profit organization and Fit Steps for Life offers an individualized exercise and nutrition program for cancer patients. They have seven locations around East Texas, one being in Bullard.

“It was a great success thanks to all the help and support we received,” head girls coach Greg Gay said.

Southside Bank helped sponsor the event’s shirts that helped paint the stands pink while the Bullard Key Club, Theater, Health Science, and Builders Club (middle school) all helped raise money for the event.
