Lady Guard takes two big W’s

(Banner Staff Photos by Doc Smith) BULLARD – The Lady Guard volleyball team picked up two good wins last week as Amy Jo Teague, Mary Caroline Selden, Baylee Rozell led the way in to both win.

Brook Hill beat Carlisle in a hardfought 3-2 win last week on Tuesday after the BBN press deadline.

Next up, new district foe, T.K. Gorman came to Herrington Gym in Bullard and lost to the Lady Guard 3-1 in non-district play.

The next Lady Guard volleyball was against King’s Academy on Tuesday after press deadline.

Brook Hill will play again on Thursday in the TAPPS district opener at Garland Christian with the JV game set for 5 p.m. and the varsity at 6 p.m.

Abigail Baker had eight digs in the win.
