Saturday opening day for Youth football



This Saturday morning marks opening day for the little guys on the gridiron as the Bullard Youth Football Association begins with warm-up games at Panther Stadium. Regrouping as a league, and a member of the Smith County Football Association, the league conists of flag football for the youngest, and four divisions that will lead a football hopeful up to his middle school career. The leagues will also be honored on Friday night at the Panthers home opener against Quitman. Flag games begin at 10 a.m.; the freshman division plays from 10 a.m. until noon, followed by the sophomore division from noon until 2 p.m, and the final group from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. games.
