The Smith County Republican Club will meet Thursday, Aug. 12, at Heartland Ham, 3400 S. Broadway in Tyler.

The guest speaker will be Precinct 1 County Commissioner Jeff Warr. He will update members on the budget situation in Smith County and how it will affect the taxpayers in the County.

Dinner will cost $8 per person and will be served at 6 p.m. The business meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
