The Cherokee County Democratic Club will meet Thursday, Aug. 26, at Lupe’s Mexican Restaurant, 517 E. Rusk in Jacksonville. The Democratic Women will meet at 6:30 p.m., and the Democratic Club will meet at 7 p.m., to discuss the local and state campaigns. The meeting room will be open at 6 p.m. and attendees may order from the menu if they wish to have dinner.
