Lon Morris College has an addition to its continued growth and expansion into additional subject areas.

Engineering courses have been added to the curriculum starting in the fall semester which begins Aug. 26.

Students interested in the field of engineering can get the first two years of engineering courses at Lon Morris and may complete an associate of science degree in the engineering field of study.

The engineering program is under the direction of Don Young, the chair of the department of math, computer science, and engineering. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University.
