Above, you can see some of the basics that the incoming freshmen are undergoing this week, in order to make ready for upcoming football camp, and the season opener, Aug. 27 against Quitman. According to BHS head coach, Shannon Wilson, the main objective was to give the incoming players a idea of what to expect. “I was really impressed with the enthusiasum of the kids coming in,” Wilson said. “This was really getting them used to what we will be doing on offense and defense, and also get them used to the new way of doing things. Really, it is a week of getting a step ahead for what is coming up when we get practices started.” Wilson continued, “And it is going to make it easier on everybody that first week, with the freshmen already with a good idea of what we expect of them on and off the field as Panthers.”
