The Cherokee Civic Theatre in Rusk auditions for their upcoming Fall musical production, Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka”, will be, for those 18 and under, Monday, Aug. 2 at 6 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 7 at 2 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 8 at 3 p.m.

Adult auditions will be Monday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 7 at 3 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m. All auditions will be held at the Theatre, 157 W. 5th Street in Rusk.

The play is based on the book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” directed by Castanya Breen. “Willy Wonka” is the story of the owner of a magical and mysterious chocolate factory who invites you into his world of pure imagination.

Performance dates will be Oct. 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9.
