The drawing was Friday at Bullard City Hall. Coe actually bought the last ticket from Brenda Cannon, vice president of the Bullard Boys and Girls Club only minutes before the drawing.

“We are very proud of the success from the raffle ticket sale for the Boys and Girls Club of Bullard,” said Jean Dark, president of the Bullard Boys and Girls Club. “We would like to thank Mr. De Wit for doing the drawing and for the donation of the property in the Katima edition. Mr. De Wit’s generosity is greatly appreciated by all.”

Pierre De Wit contributed property valued at more than $30,000 for the raffle. Raffle tickets for $100 apiece were purchased before the drawing;

“The club would also like to thank everyone who purchased tickets, and the community for all of the help and support,” Dark said.
