The City of Jacksonville, East Texas Medical Center EMS, and Central Baptist Church will host a drowning prevention program at Lake Jacksonville Campgrounds.

The theme of the program is Kids Don’t Float. Life jackets and vests will be available at the concession stand at Lake Jacksonville for children to use free of charge.

Get to the program site from U.S. Highway 69 South, turn right on Larissa Street, then left on College Avenue, which turns into Byrd Road and leads directly into the campgrounds (just south of the city of Jacksonville).
