Police arrest Odessa man

30-year-old allegedly in possession of meth lab materials

KELLY HARJO KELLY HARJO Bullard police arrested a man suspected of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Officer Stuart Alexander stopped Kelly Lee Harjo, 30, who was driving a latemodel Chevrolet pickup in the 900 block of W. Main Street at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 12.

Harjo, who is from Odessa, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with possession and trans- porta- tion of chemic als with the intent of manufacturing. Harjo was allegedly in possession of materials used in manufacturing methamphetamine. The charge is a penalty group 1/1A. He was transported to the Smith County Jail where he remains as of Monday, June 14, according to Smith County Jail online records.

Bond was set at $1,000 for possession of a dangerous drug; $5,000 for possession of a dangerous drug/failure to appear; $500 for possession of marijuana, under two ounces; and $7,500 for possession and transportation of chemicals with the intent of manufacturing.
