Bullard’s Blast in the Sky slated

It is an event that has been growing in attendance, attracting people from all around Smith County and East Texas.

Bullard’s annual Blast in the Sky Fourth of July Celebration will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, July 2, at Bullard High School. There will be plenty of parking in the lighted parking lot at the high school parking area.

Blast in the Sky is family friendly.

The fireworks display will be immediately after dusk, and Blast in the Sky also will include live entertainment and the giant sand box which was such a hit with the children last year.

Concessions will be available. However, participants also may bring their own coolers of beverages and food. Because the event is on school property, it will be a nonalcoholic event.

The Blast in the Sky is a BYOLC (Bring Your Own Lawn Chair) event. Air conditioned restrooms also will be available.
