Prayer rally set for June 12

A prayer rally will be Saturday, June 12, in downtown Bullard.

Churches and citizens of Bullard will pray for the community and for renewal Christian values for a future of peace and rest, according to Raymond Graham, one of the event’s organizers.

The Hubbard Family will lead the music.

Bullard and area pastors and church leaders will lead corporate, category driven prayers for the community.

Most of the Bullard Ministerial Alliance as well as Gresham Baptist Church will participate. All churches in the community will be invited to join and attend.

Prayers will include men – spiritual leaders in the home; women – godly women; addiction – deliverance; tragic deaths – protection; marriages – godly marriages/divine love; our children – God will direct their lives while they are young; teenagers – unique troubles for teens, peer pressure; finances – restored finances and financial wisdom; government leaders – local and national leaders need our prayer, God will raise up leaders of faith; pending wet/dry election – despite differing viewpoints within the community, we need to pray for God’s leading in our community; repentance – humble yourself and pray and seek God’s face; and salvation – salvation prayer/Jesus Christ, the way, the truth, the life;
