Annual Blast in the Sky set for July 2

Bullard’s annual Blast in the Sky Fourth of July Celebration will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, July 2, at Bullard High School.

While the highlight will be the fireworks display immediately after dusk, the event also will include live entertainment and the giant sand box for children that was such a hit last year.

There will be plenty of parking in the lighted parking lot at the high school, and concessions will be available. Participants also may bring their own coolers of beverages and food. However, because the event is on school property, it will be a non-alcoholic event.

The Blast in the Sky is a BYOLC (Bring Your Own Lawn Chair) event. Air conditioned restrooms also will be available.
