The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints will host a tour of the new Bullard Ward Chapel and Tyler Stake Center, June 11 and 12.

The recently completed 24,000 square foot meetinghouse will be open to the public from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. It is located on Highway 69 South at Robert Walker Road in Bullard. It will be dedicated Sunday, June 13 with members attending from the five counties (Anderson, Cherokee, Henderson, Smith and Van Zandt) that make up the Tyler Texas Stake area.

The multi-purpose building will also be used for Stake Conferences, youth activities (including dances and sporting events), women’s Relief Society gatherings, men’s priesthood meetings and will be able to accommodate 1,400- plus people and 251 automobiles. Membership in the Tyler Texas Stake is about 2,700 Latter-day Saints.
