BULLARD SUPERLATIVES Head Coach and District Coach of the Year, Ronnie Dent has a talk with team while league MVP, Nick Rumbelow, and Defensive Player of the Year, Steve Langston talk with Coach Cody Ellis. The 17-3A baseball district champion, Bullard Panthers, recently dominated the 2010 DIstrict 17-3A All-District team.

Taking three superlative spots, Nick Rumbelow was voted the league Most Valuable Player, catcher Steve Langston was named Defensive Player of the Year, and head coach, Ronnie Dent was named Co- Coach of the Year, along with Gilmer’s head coach, Joey Hector.

Panthers named to the first team include pitchers Tanner Bailey and Taft Rose.

Senior, Nolan Rose got the first team nod at second base, while Koby Greene garnered first team shortstop honors. Ryan Wood was firstteam outfielder, while freshman Trevor Rumbelow was the first team designated hitter.

NICK RUMBELOW Most Valuable Player The Panthers only had one representative on the second team, as Hunter Skelton landed a spot in the outfield.

The Panthers season ended in a onegame area round loss to Mexia, 6-1 last Saturday at Morris Park in Lufkin. Bullard won district undefeated and posted a 23-7 record.
