Bullard library to host summer reading program
The Bullard Community Library Summer Reading Program will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at the library, 211 W. Main, in Bullard.
This year’s theme is, “High Energy, Fast- Paced Kids Comedy Production,” which will include dances, characters, puppets and participation. Debbie Day will host the production.
Also included will be face-painting, makeand take book markers, music and free hot dogs and drinks.
Toddlers through teens may attend the program. Every participant who completes at least one log sheet in their age category will receive a certificate and at least one new or used book at the final awards program. Special awards and prizes will be given to the top readers in each of the three age groups.
During the summer, the regularly scheduled 10:30 Thursday morning story time will continue and additionally special activities, games, crafts and programs will be available for children of all ages.
At 6:30 p.m. each Monday from June 7 through Aug. 9, the library will host Movie Night. A schedule will be available at the library.
The regular hours for the library are Monday 10-9; Tuesday 10-6; Wednesday Closed; Thursday 10-6; Friday 10-4; and Saturday 10- 2.
