Bullard Middle School Theater will precent the musical, “Into the Woods Junior” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 14 and 15, at the Bullard High School Audry Owen Auditorium.

Music and lyrics for the play are by Stephen Sondheim.

“Into the Woods Junior” is an engaging and funny Sondheim musical comedy that twists familiar fairy tales into a brand new story. When a baker and his wife learn they’ve been cursed with childlessness by the witch next door, they embark on a quest for the special objects required to break the spell. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Red Riding Hood and Jack with his beanstalk, are just a few of those they encounter during their adventures.

The BMS Student Director is Ellen Kawaja, and the BHS Chorographer/Student director is Heather Berryhill. The play director is Sandy Spears.

Adapted for a youthful cast and audience, “Into the Woods Junior” is considered a family show.

Tickets are available at the Bullard Middle School office at a cost of $5. Tickets at the door will cost $7.
