A Smith County grand jury in the 7th District Court returned 24 indictments on Thursday, in cluding:

Manuel Antunez, 22, Flint; evading arrest, March 4.

Pedro Batista, 63, 18841 County Road 15; manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, Jan. 8.

Joshua Cowart, 26, Flint; possession of a controlled substance, Feb. 13.

Michael Hopson, 54, Frankston; failure to register as a sex offender, March 2.
