Panther pitcher named to elite group on ‘Perfect Series’ All-Region team
Above is the certificate recently received by Bullard’s Nick Rumbelow, as one of the top high school layers in the nation. Selected to the All-Region team, Rumbelow will participate in another Perfect Game Showcase. Rumbelow is already signed but not yet delivered, to play at Louisiana State University for the next four seasons, where he recently signed a national letter-of-intent. In a recent interview, he was offered a fouryear plan at LSU, with an education as well as a great baseball tradition, that has produced numerous professional players and a great program.
If things keep going as they have so far this season, LSU may have trouble convincing Nick Rumbelow that the college route may not be the way to go, with his recent selection to the Rawlings- Perfect Game Series USA All-Region First Team.
The Perfect Game USA and Rawlings recently announced the Pre-Season All- American and All-Region Team, recognizing the top 4000 high school baseball players in the United States.
The Perfect Game Series showcases these players and their abilities to collegiate and professional scouts. In partnership with Perfect Game USA, Rawlings has devoted itself to distinguishing ‘The Finest In The Field” with these awards. Vice-President of Rawlings, Mike Thompson said in a press release, “These selected athletes are being recognized for their skill, athleticism, and dedication to their game, which allows them to perform to the highest level of game play.
“With more than 240,000 high school athletes in the nation, these players represent the very best in their class.”
The Rawlings Pre-Season All-Region First Team recognizes 400 players from eight regions around the United States.
Each of the regions will form a 50- man roster complete with catchers, pitchers, infielders, and outfielders. In addition, their top 150 of the 400 players will be named to the Rawlings Pre-Season All- American Team. All 150 award recipients will be split into three teams, each including a 50-man roster.
