Voter cards corrected
Cherokee County Voter Registration Department will correct several voter’s precinct boxes.
During the March primary, officials discovered a number of voters in the incorrect precinct, according to Cherokee County Tax Assessor/ Collector Linda Little. The 911 addressing has made it much easier in determining what voting precinct a voter resides in. About 250 voters have been corrected to date.
Voters who receive a new card, which is blue in color, should review their voting information and the precinct box. Anyone who has received a revised card and has questions should contact the Voter Registrar, Connie Quine, at (903) 683-1400.
