Bullard Library receives gifts

(Photo Courtesy of Carolyn McCall) Representatives of the Tyler Colony Society of Mayflower Descendants presented Bullard Librarian Joanne Buendtner with a bundle of items for the library Monday, March 15.

Governor Carolyn McCall, a resident of Bullard and Deputy Governor Betty Corcoran of Tyler visited the Bullard Community Library and gave the following items to Buendtner, including the books entitled “Three Young Pilgrims,” by Cheryl Harness, “Thanksgiving,” by Glenn Alan Cheney and the DVD “Colonial Life for Children,” produced by Plimouth Planation.

Buendtner expressed thanks to the Tyler Colony members for the new material and said that the items would be an addition to the library and that home-schoolers were always looking for these kinds of items to use in their educational programs.
