TODD THOENE Todd Thoene filed for the Bullard City Council.

Thoene, who had served as a council member, is an investigator for the Smith County District Attorney’s Office, investigating criminal cases. He also is president of the Bullard Athletic Booster Club and is a licensed Baptist minister.

“I was on the city council two years ago,” Thoene said. “I want to get back on because of the city’s growth. I want to be involved with the community and the way it’s growing.”

Thoene, 37, was raised in Bullard and said growth is good for the community.

“I want to be a voice for the citizens,” he said.

His wife, Sabrina, is the director at the Taylor Christian Day School in Bullard. The have two children, including a son, Adam, who graduated from Bullard High School, and a daughter, Stormie, who is a sophomore at BHS.
