MINTA SPEARS MOST VALUABLE PLAYER
The Lady Panthers celebrated with an outstanding 30-6 season, and advanced to the regional finals for the first time since girls went to five-man basketball, in the 1970 s.
Along with the great season, every player for the Lady Panthers received alldistrict or all-academic honors.
Sophomore Minta Spears was named the district MVP, and junior Ashlee Shidler named the Defensive Player of the Year, for the district.
First team honors went to seniors Ashley Ricci, Samantha Phillips, and Christina Hatten.
The second team had seniors Heather Camp, and Kayla Welling, joined by Ally Covalt.
Honorable mention kudos went out to Emmy Long and Ashley Phillips.
Felecia Sigman had to sit-out with an injury all season, but still led a full deck of Lady Panthers on the All-Academic squad.
Joining Sigman on the scholars list are Heather Camp, Minta Spears, Ashlee Shidler, Christina Hatten, Samantha Phillips, Ally Covalt, Emmy Long, and Ashley Phillips.
