Walker is a 2-year-old walker coonhound mix, who has been at the Humane Society of East Texas for about a year and desperately needs to be adopted by a loving family. He is a wonderful, big dog and is very affectionate and gentle. Walker would do best in a household with older children just because of his size. He has been neutered and is current on all his vaccinations. The Humane Society of East Texas is a selective admission, no-kill animal sanctuary located in Tyler. Hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed each day from 1-2 p.m. for lunch), Tuesday through Sunday. Visit online at hsoet.org or call (903) 597-2471.
