KE Bushman’s hosts Village of Tyler benefit celebration
BCFS’s faith-based residential community, Breckenridge Village of Tyler celebrated “A Night to Remember” at the KE Bushman’s Celebration Center with more than 800 attending.
More than $46,000 has been raised for the special campus for developmentally disabled adults, and additional donations continue coming in daily.
Guests were “sent” back in time, experiencing the sights, sounds and music of the 1950s and 1960s. The gala featured the local talent of TJC’s Harmony & Understanding, the Kilgore Rangerettes, Dale Cummings as “The C,” Class Reunion Men’s Quartet, One Heart Ladies Trio, the young men’s quartet from All Saints Episcopal School and James Wages as “Sincerely Elvis.” Several actors and actresses from local acting troupes and BVT’s own special residents shared center stage too.
Sponsors included Pierre de Wet of Kiepersol Estates, Ed King of Chick-Fil-A, Brookshire Grocery Company and CSM Inc.
