Lindsey Bradley, Bullard City Council member said Thursday, March 3, he will not seek a third term.

Bradley has served the last three years on the city council. He had previously served for two years on the Bullard Planning and Zoning Board.

“It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve the citizens of Bullard as a public servant to improve and expand city services, and infrastructure and to develop an environment for growth of new businesses in our community,” he said. “But it was the desire to preserve the value and quality of life that first drew me to move to Bullard over five years ago.”

Bradley said he is very proud of the council’s work in addressing the infrastructure needs of Bullard.

“Our water is clear and abundant and we have prepared for the needs for the future. We are well on the way to addressing our waste water needs,” Bradley said. “The council and the city staff have established good business practice for budgets and holding down the tax burden for our citizens.”

Bullard is on the verge of significant growth and development and Bradley said he feels that the efforts of the Bullard City Council, BEDCO and the Bullard Chamber will prepare very well for the future.

“I have been honored to serve our city and I will always continue to help when I can. Thank you to the council members and the city staff and the citizens of Bullard.” he said.
