Sons of Confederate Veterans meet, honor business owner

The Gen. Joseph L. Hogg Camp 972, Sons of Confederate Veterans met at the home of Mark Hutson Saturday Jan. 23, for their monthly meeting.
Among the members present were Bullard residents Commander J.D. Campbell, Lt. Commander Kevin McCall and Chaplain Tom McCall.
At the meeting a certificate of appreciation was presented to business man, Marcus Davis who has the shop, “White Horse Gallery” located at 15136 Highway 155 in Tyler (Noonday).
Davis was honored because he displays Confederate flags in his shop and flies the Battle flag which is identified as the soldiers flag. Commander Scott Bell made the presentation.
The rest of the program consisted of a CD containing different examples of the Rebel Yell.
