The Bullard Chapter of the Grassroots America We The People will meet at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at the Emerald Bay Club.

Guest speakers will be Rep. Louie Gohmert and former commissioner and current executive director of GAWTP, JoAnn Flemming.

The meeting will be open to the public. However, all attendees must send an e-mail to jspeiran@earthlink.net with their name and phone number to be cleared through the security gate.

GAWTP is a conservative organization (not Republican or Democrat) formed by George Stephenson and Ashton Oravetez, who were concerned that the country was heading in the wrong direction. They felt the Constitution and the voice of the people were being ignored. The first meeting was in early 2009 with less than 10 people attending, and now more than 1,300 members attend.
