Library board adds two members, facility to host Woodman flag ceremony Feb. 15
The Bullard Library Board added two new board members.
“It is a pleasure to announce the addition of Monica Klein and Paul Chance to the Bullard Community Library Board of Directors,” said Pat Welch, board secretary. “Their addition to the board will help us to continue to move forward on the construction of the new library building.”
The Bullard Library is located a 211 W. Main St., in Bullard. The library hosts a scrapbooking workshop on the third Saturday of each month at the library. The next shop will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20.
The library hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday; from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday; closed Wednesday; from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday; from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday; and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The library also will host the Woodman of the World flag raising ceremony at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, on Presidents Day. The Bullard Boy Scouts also will feature a flag-folding demonstration and Chris Green, area manager for Woodman of the World, will speak about rules regarding the flag. Refreshments will be provided by Woodman of the World.
