Good examples —
Two Bullard fourth-graders voluntarily spent a Sunday afternoon picking up trash in their neighborhood. Landry Walpole, left, and her friend, Jarrett Whatley, both 10, could have been doing a number of other things to wile away the weekend afternoon. Instead, without prompting from their parents, they spent time beautifying their neighborhood and set an outstanding example for others, including older ones, to follow. Landry is the daughter of Clay and Stacey Thompson and Jarrett is the daughter of Brian and Jeanna Whatley. (Photo Courtesy of Stacey Thompson)
