Panthers overcome technical problems for win

BULLARD - Josiah Rosebury and Lance Anding combined for 54 points to lead the Panthers past the Chapel Hill Bulldogs on Tuesday night, at Panther Gymnasium.
The hotly contested game was highlighted with eight ties, five lead changes, and four technical fouls in the fourth quarter against Bullard, leading to a five-point turnaround for the Bulldogs, with 3:05 left in the game.
Bulldog Jordan Williams was 11-of-12 from the charity strip, alone in the final quarter to finish with a team-high 23 points.
Battling back from a 71-59 deficit, Rosebury chipped away with 12 of his points down the stretch.
Daniel Howard made back-to-back steals for baskets, leading to a 75-75 tie with 23-seconds left in regulation..

In the next Bulldog possession, Anding made a steal in the Bulldogs end, got the ball up the floor, and drove for a basket and was fouled with eight-seconds left.
The top freethrow shooter in Class 3A in Texas last year, was true with the final point for the 78-75 squeaker.
Bullard (17-8; 2-0) will travel to play at Spring Hill on Friday night.
