Financial Literacy
Faye Dotson, left, and Terry Boyd of Austin Bank
presented certifiactes for U.S. Savings bonds to the
winners of the “Teach Children to Save -- Financial
Literacy” contest. The winners included Thomas
Hooker, a second-grader at Bullard Elementary
School (top), and Cole Overbeek, a second-grader at
Brook Hill. Dotson and Boyd also presented a book,
“Sluggers’ Car Wash” to each of the schools. Librarian
Linda Sigman accepted for Bullard Elementary,
and Bill Seronello accepted the book for Brook Hill.
