City and county offices will be closed Friday, Jan. 1.

Bullard city offices will reopen for business during regular hours Monday, Jan. 4.

Bullard Independent School District will resume regular class and business hours Monday, Jan. 4.

Brook Hill schools also will resume classes Monday, Jan. 4

City and area banks and most other businesses will be closed Friday, Jan. 1. Some businesses will close early Thursday, Dec. 31.

In the caption of the photo accompanying the article regarding the city considering annexing 221 acres, the caption indicated that the council “approved the annexation.” As indicated in the article, the city council passed a resolution to move forward toward annexation and will not consider approving the annexation until the January city council meeting. The Banner News regrets the error.
