Bullard Middle School Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Legends Old-Time Burger Cafe partnered to raise money for new bicycles to benefit the Bullard Mission House Christmas Project.
“Founder, Hazel Mason, shared with me that she needed bicycles this year most of all, so I used my involvement with the kids in the FCA (I’m a parent sponsor) to start the fundraising efforts,” said Susette Beckham, owner of Legends. Members were asked to collect donations in exchange for a gift tag that was placed on one of the Christmas Trees at Bullard Middle School and Legends. The members were also encouraged to donate used bikes. All total, the group purchased seven bicycles and donated another three used bikes.
The First Baptist Church Bullard Ladies Card Ministry and Teresa Ray of Bullard each purchased one bike. Legends and the BMS FCA students purchased five and donated another three.
