Benefit concert

The Brook Hill “3 + 1,” which includes Paul Ruark, Daniel Sharpless, Mason Lieberman (above), and Revolution guitarist partnered with award winning high school string troupe, Revolution, from Abilene for a “String Revolution” event at Brook Hill School to benefit severely ill Jacksonville string luthier, Scott Becker. Becker and his family do not have insurance and the benefit event for Becker will help with his medical needs. Revolution, under the direction of Darcy Radcliffe and David Keown, held daytime string clinics with East Texas area string musicians. All the clinic fees, ticket proceeds and donations went to the Scott Becker Benefit fund. Donations may still be made to the fund and sent to or deposited at any Austin Bank.
