Nine Bullard Lady Panthers were recently named to the District 17-3A volleyball all-academic team for 2009.

Lady Panthers named to the team include seniors, Heather Camp, Nikki Coleman, Brittany Glover, Ashley Ricci, Valarie Roberts, Kailee Morris, and underclassmen Ashlee Shidler, Chelsea Foreman and Kylee Nichols.

Tatum led the district with 13 girls named to the elite team of scholastic achievers.

Other schools represented were Gilmer and league champion, Spring Hill with 10 players each, a playoff rep, Chapel Hill had nine girl’s named to the team while Gladwewater had four.
