NIKKI COLEMAN MOST VALUABLE HITTER After finishing the season one-step farther down the playoff road than last year in the regional quarter-finals, the Lady Panthers were well represented in the District 17- 3A all-district team recently released.

The Lady Panthers ended the season with a 27-13 record, after losing to Carthage two weeks ago at TJC’s Wagstaff gymnasium.

District champion, Spring Hill garnered five of the superlative spots, while Bullard’s seniors, Nikki Coleman was name District Most Valuable Hitter and Heather Camp, the league’s Most Valuable Setter.

Spring Hill superlative run included Ashley Campbell (MVP), Megan Rutter (Hitter), Megan Cameron and Lacy Hodges of Gilmer shared the Defensive Specialist, and Savannah Voelzke and head coach, Karen Brundrett were the other superlative honorees for Spring Hill.

First team honors for our local Lady Panthers went to Ariel Hamby and Valarie Roberts, while second team kudos were given to Brittany Glover, Madison Moore and Ashlee Shidler.

HEATHER CAMP MOST VALUABLE SETTER Lady Panthers, Kailee Morris, Ashley Ricci and Raiven Whatley were named to the honorable mention squad.

Bullard also placed nine players on the all-district, allacademic team with Camp, Coleman, Glover, Morris, Ricci, Roberts, Shidler, Chelsea Foreman and Kylee Nichols.
