The Whitehouse Theater Department, under the direction of Rick Higginbotham, will perform the play “Dancing at Lughnasa.”

Show dates will be at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19, 21, and 23, and at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 22.

The play is the story of five unmarried sisters eking out their lives in a small village in Ireland in l936. The action of the play is told through the memory of the illegitimate son of one of the sisters as he remembers the five women who raised him, his mother and four maiden aunts.
