III-District 2) enjoyed the bright lights of Ford Stadium on the SMU camous Friday night as they embarrassed a No. 4 ranked Dallas Lutheran Lions 55-9, before an huge crowd.

(Staff Photos by Paul Dickey) (Staff Photos by Paul Dickey) The battle of the top-ranked teams turned in to a war in the trenches that made the difference.

That and the ‘Triple-Threat Review’ of two-way all-stars, senior Jeremey Chappelle, junior Tyler Baker, and sophomore J.B. Moss.

Lutheran (6-2, 3-0) made a brief attempt at a Halloween trick, with the first score of the game.

Brook Hill then broke outs the treats in the easily won game by the No. 2 ranked Guard.

Coming into the game, Lutheran had missed running back Grant Klembara for a few games, but along with quarterback Ben Hartley, the duo had combined for 2,020 yards and 27 scores on the ground.

The two accounted for 192-yards on the ground while the Guard rolled up 657 combined yards to cruise to the leagueclincher.

Not really a clincher, but a winless Flower- Mound- Coram Deo is way too many prayers away from a win.

Guard quarterback, Tyler Baker ran and scored, threw and scored and tackled a bunch of ins in-between.

Baker ran for 70-yards, and threw for another 219-yards

Vastly becoming a show in himself is J.B. Moss as he and Baker share time at quarterback-receiver-, kickers, and spirited late quarter water boys.

Moss ran amuck for 135 yards to lead all Guard ball toters, added a 3-of-4 for 86 yards and one interception in the air while at signal-caller, and caught a Baker pass for a 17-yard gain.

Jeremey Chappelle had another Division I type night with six catches for 232 yards, and two long scores of 68 and 25-ayrders.

The last from Travis Pirtle as he threw 3-for-3 and 47 yards

Aside from that, a dominant line performance out of Heath Dickey, Tallen Harris, Justin Northcutt, Matthew Ruark, and Jonathan Jones supplied the room for six Guard ball carriers

Defensively, Dickey joined linebackers Harris and ‘little-big’ brother, Jared Dickey as they combined for 21 tackles.
