BMS has tough time with big-ol’ Bulldogs at home
BULLARD - On a chilly, rainy Thursday afternoon. the Bullard Panther middle school teams fought hard but came up short in all four BMS games against Chapel Hill played at the high school’s new Panther Stadium
A one-hour delay set the games back and a rain-soaked turf made the running tough in their final home appearance of the season.
The eighth-grade ‘A’ team led after one quarter, 8-6 but lost 20-8 in the final game. Hunter LAndrum scored on a one-yard dive, and Autin Skelton capped onthe PAT run.
The eighth-grade ‘B’ team gave up one TD in each half to take a 14-0 setback.
The seventh-grade ‘A’ game was a hard-hitter, and closer than the 28-14 score sounded.
Brentavian Henderson had another big 100-plus yards on the ground in the loss.The seventh-grade ‘B’ team came up short in a 16-0 loss.
The Panthers will finish out the season on the road this next Thursday when they travel to play at Spring Hill on Thursday.
