Brook Hill honor students

(Photo Courtesy of Linda Seronello) Of the more than 50,000 students who took the PSAT/NMSQT exam in the fall of 2008, three Brook Hill students received official recognition. Seniors Megan Troxell and Kyle Tabler were honored as Commended Scholars by the organization with scores placing them in the top 16,000 scores worldwide and in the top 5 percent of scores in the state of Texas. Senior Jamee Eslicker has been named a Semi-finalist and advances in the competition. Her score placed her in the top 521 in the state of Texas. She is only one of eight students from public, private and home-schooled students in the East Texas area to receive this honor. National Merit Finalists will be announced in the spring.
