Heroic service
      At the October Bullard Independent School District Board of Trustees meeting, BISD Superintendent Keith Bryant presented 11th-grader Jessica Burton a placque for her service and the help she rendered after a BISD bus crash last month.

      Soccer is not one of the main sports at Bullard High School. I have been playing the goalkeeper position since I was 5 and I am planning to keep my career going through college. If soccer was played at BHS, it would be easier to get a scholarship to play in. If you don’t get a scholarship, there’s usually not a guaranteed spot on the field.

BHS to perform Disney play in December
      The Bullard High School Theater Department will be presenting a modern classic, Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” as this year’s fall musical production. The musical will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 at in the Audry Owens Auditorium. There will be a special matinee performance at 2 p.m. Sunday Dec. 20.
