Brook Hill week slated
Brook Hill School Homecoming activities will continue this week with the crowning of the queen and king slated for Friday, Nov. 6.
This year’s theme is Big Blue Nation — All- American Homecoming Celebration.
The 2009 Homecoming Court for Brook Hill School includes:
9th grade Duke and Duchess: Bailey Franklin, son of Neal and Valli Franklin and Baylee Rozell, daughter of Danny and Michelle Rozell;
10th grade Duke and Duchess: Wade Karam, son of Nick and Kim Karam and Tyesha Jackson, daughter of J. Don and Hannas Jackson;
11th grade Duke and Duchess: Logan Kirkpatrick, son of Barry and Christal Kirkpatrick and Ashley White, daughter of Thomas and Lynn White;
The Homecoming Queen Nominees are Erica Eden, daughter of Tim and Patti Eden; Sarah Mullicane, daughter of Jim and Meri Mullicane; and Megan Troxell, daughter of Wade and Sharon Troxell.
The Homecoming King Nominees are Jeremey Chappelle, son of Veronica Hunter; Heath Dickey, son of Paul and Linda Dickey; and Preston Swink, son of Mack and Jill Swink.
On schedule for today, Wednesday, Nov. 4; is the combined chapel service with the theme, “Tribute to Kyle Lake, ” from 9:15a.m. to 10:20 a.m.
For Thursday, Nov. 5, the day’s theme will be “Red, White, Go Blue!” All grades will wear red, white, or blue shirts depending on what grade level they are in; and a bonfire is slated for 7:30 p.m.

The Friday, Nov. 6, the day’s theme of “A Guard Salute — Support our Soldiers!” Stu- dents will wear camouflage. The day’s schedule also includes:
2 p.m. – A pep rally at the U.S. gym.
2:45 p.m. - Walk to the Rock and the firing of the cannon.
5 p.m. - Kyle Lake Athletic Center Dedication
5:30 p.m. - A tailgate party.
7:30 p.m. – The varsity Guard vs. Coram Deo Academy football game
Halftime - Homecoming Court presented.
The U.S. Homecoming Dance will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at The Commons.
