Panther Youth Basketball

The Panther Basketball Youth League for boys and girls in grades 1st through 6th will be starting registration soon with the draft set for Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Bullard High School gymnasium. Registration forms can be picked up at and BISD campus. Forms will also be sent home with the children through the respective schools. Cost for the league is $60 for the first child, and $45 for each additional family member. Fess are due at the draft. Games will begin Jan, 2nd, and be played each Saturday, (Jan. 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and Feb, 6). Brook Hill East Texas Championship Boys Basketball

League begins team sign-ups

The second Annual Brook Hill East Texas Championship Boys Basketball League is now open for team registration. The League is for team entries only Divisions offered are for boy’s teams in grades 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, and 7th- 8th. All the games are played on the campus of The Brook Hill School and Coach Wally Dawkins is the League Director. The League is designed to draw in teams from the East Texas area that are interested in competitive play. Games begin in January with each team playing 6 games and a season ending Division Championship Tournament to be held on Feb. 25, 26, & 28. Most games are played on Saturday afternoons and schedules will be designed as to not interfere with local leagues. Each team is responsible for their own player selection as no draft is held. Camps at Brook Hill

Brook Hill Basketball Coach Wally Dawkins will conduct basketball mini-clinics for boys and girls basketball players the

following dates. Nov. 7th- Girls 1st-2nd

Grade 9-11 AM, Girls 3rd-4th Grade 12

Noon-2:30 PM, and Girls 5th-6th Grade 3-6 PM. For Boys, the mini-camps will be conducted on Nov. 21st for grades 1st-2nd

9-11 AM, 3rd-4th 12 Noon-2:30 PM, 5th- 6th 3-6 PM. The mini-camps will focus on

ball handling, individual offensive moves, ½ court offensive skills, and 5 on 5 team play at the end of each session. The primary

goals of the mini-camps are to

improve each camper’s offensive ability

while providing drills for each participant to practice at the end of the session. Each

session is limited to 20 campers per age

group. Costs of the mini-camps are $20.00 per camper and all proceeds go to

the Brook Hill Athletic Booster Club. To reserve one of the limited spaces for each
