FORT WORTH – The Brook Hill Lady Guard volleyball season came to an end losing in a bi-district battle in five games to Fort Worth-Lake Country, 3-2 on Saturday at Lake Country’s gymnasium.

The TAPPS first-round match-up was a nail-biter with Brook Hill winning games one and four (25-17, 25- 23), and Lake Country winning games two and three (17-25, 21-25) to set up a back-and-forth final game five 11-15 win for Lake Country.

Leading the way for The Lady Guard in their final games as the lone seniors on the team were, Erica Eden with six kills, and 30 assist while classmate, Sarah Mullicane added five kills, and two solo blocks.

(Staff Photos by Paul    Dickey)       (Staff Photos by Paul Dickey) Also adding to the final totals were Mary Caroline Selden with eight kills, 15 digs, and one block, Amy Jo Teague added 11 kills and 10 digs, while Carley Howard chipped in with 18 digs.

Two freshmen that will be heard from for years to come were Baylee Rozell adding 11kills, eight digs, and two solo blocks, and Alyssa Eden made two killsm and two solo blocks.

The Lady Guard finishes another playoff season with a record of 13-18 overall and 7-6 in district play.
