      Football: Bullard High School 15, Gladewater 51; JV 6, Gladewater 28; Freshmen did not play. BMS 7th ‘A’ 38, Gladewater ‘A’ 22; Gladewater ‘B’ 16, BMS ‘B’ 0; BMS eighth grade scores were not reported. Brook Hill 40, Shelton School 7, Brook Hill MS lost to Hawkins 34-32; JV did not play.

Bears munch on Panther meat, 51-15
      BULLARD – The Bullard woes on the football gridiron continued on Friday night as the Davis duo from Gladewater wentoff in the first half on their way to a 51-15 win over Bullard on Friday night at Panther Stadium. The Panthers were dominated as the Bears rolled up 542 total yards in the contest.

Panther JV gives Bears a battle
      GLADEWATER - The Bullard freshmen team put up a battle against the Galdewater Bears, but came up short, 21-6 this past week at Jack Murphy Stadium last Thursday. The Bears scratched the board first for a 7-0 lead after one quarter.

IIFA brings Texas Rose Arena ball to Tyler’s, Oil Palace
      The Independent Indoor Football Alliance (IIFA) hel a press conference this last Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Oil Palace located on Highway 64- East in Tyler. Team organizers James Germany and Roger Visor will be announcing the new team name, tryout dates and will answer questions regarding the upcoming 2010 IIFA season.

      ATHENS – The Bullard Fall Tennis team lost their final match up of the shortened season with a very close loss, 10-6 at the hands of the Athens Hornets last week on the Hornets home tennis courts.

BMS 8thgrade ‘A’ dominates G’Water Cubs 30-8
      BULLARD- Bullard’s 8th grade ‘A’ team took a big win over Gladewater, 30-8 last week. Running back, Isaiah Burton had two touchdowns and a two point conversion in the first quarter alone. Dillon White ran an interception back for a score, and the Panthers also ran a punt back for a score in a game.

      SPRING HILL – For another first in Bullard athletics history, both Bullard Cross Country teams qualified girl’s and boy’s teams for the Region III meet in Humble on Nov. 7. For the second year, the Lady Panthers took second-place behind the Lady Panthers of Spring Hill.
